Hey,
Just wanted to add be careful on eBay as well, I won an auction 2 weeks ago for a SWF 1501 that ended up being a scam. The seller listed payment type of credit card but would only accept bank transfer which put up all kinds of alarms (along with broken english and 100% refund that seemed fishy). After alerting ebay they came back and said they were using an account from someone else. Be careful!

I'm so sick of this sh#t.. I've been working 6 days a week now for three months, trying to save up for a used machine..
Now that I can finaly afford to purchase one, all the used machines I'm finding online are scams from a$$holes offering deals that are too good to be true, constantly trying to use fake third party's for shipping etc..
I also responded to this guy, he said he was deaf and his son was in the hospital.. After asking him how he could make the transaction secure and letting him know that I am adept enough to know a scam when I see one he tried to send me to myhplogistics.com (obviouse fake site)..

Anyways.. If anyone knows any LEGITIMATE 3rd party companies (do they exist?) I can use when and IF I try to get a machine online, please email me so I can look in to them..
Thanks
Adrian

I am a dealer and I deal with this all the time. I have had bad Cashier's checks sent to me for more then the amount that I am asking for the machine then they want you to write a check from your account and send it to their "inspecting agent" that is supposedly wanting to come and inspect the machine but will never show up. So they get away with the extra money that you send out to the Inspector. I sniffed out a bad transaction as soon as he wanted me to do that so I contacted the authorities and went along with the transaction to try to catch him but we were never able to track him down. The cashiers check was actually a good one but it came from someone else's account. Very messed up situation.
Be Careful.....If you can afford it it's better to go see the equipment and make sure you are getting what you are paying for.

Be careful if someone offers you a deal that's too good to be true, and they refuse to reveal basic verifiable information about themselves and are unwilling to sign a buyers contract then its too good to be true..

So much time is wasted on scammer's it's truly a shame.

My two cents for what it's worth.

I contacted this ad and have corresponded with him over 15 e-mails. He gave me his home addy where the machine is. I just e-mailed him to ask for a phone number as I have several other questions. I will let you know if I hear back from him. We are going this weekend to see it.
