Default Screen Dryer?

Who has what?
What would you suggest?
Looking for something that holds as many screens as possible.
Having to coat screens 1-2x a day to keep up is getting old!

We just built a basic cabinet then put a dehumidifier in the bottom of it.

I love our vastex dri-vaults...we have the 24 and the 10...in and out in 20 minutes or less...its a great asset when you need to turn something around fast, or made a mistake, etc...you could maybe try to get a screen cart and seal up the sides/top somehow...

i bet tshirtforums has 100 posts on how to make your own...seems like everyone there makes all their own stuff. lol

I have a screen rooom in my shop, 6 X 12. The one end of the room has slatted 2 X 2 brackets on the side wall and the rear wall that allow any size of screen to be held. I usually have about 20 of each of my main screen sizes ready to go. The room is dehumidified and heated during the cold months. I just have a 4 foot flourescent light with UV covers on it.

We use the Vastex 10 right now. Would like the 24, but $4k can buy a lot of other things.

When it's really cold I put a small radiator style heater in there - the only thing blowing air is the filter unit, this really keeps the dust down.

23x31 screens are bone dry in a few hours. Additional coats dry even faster.

Do you turn off the dehumidifier, air filter and heater after the screens are dry and ready to be used, or are they running all the time?

build a screen room 6x10 make some wooden rack on the far wall
with 1x1 wood spaced for 23 x31 if you run autos. get a fan for air circulation
and you are done. If you want add a small electric floor heater the fan will
circulate the warm air.

has been working perfect for us for 25 years for us.

I do need a new hygrometer, the last one got run over by a guitar amplifier...(screen room is also musical gear storage room)

What % do you want the humidity to be at for best results?
