PRODUCTION MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job purpose:

The purpose of this position (Production Manger) is to be the manager and point person for all domestic production (Screen-printing) Overseeing the preparation of artwork to the production of decorated garments. The individual in this role is responsible for the management and work delegation of Brist Mfg.'s domestic program and employees. We are looking for someone who works well with others and is interested in growing and developing this side of our business.


Duties and responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities of this job include but are not limited to the following.

● Working closely in communication with Management in order to manage and implement new ideas and processes.
● Communicating with Management in order to answer any questions and tend to any pressing production needs.
● Keeping the warehouse a clean and efficient workspace through delegation to production employees.
● Being the main point person for Brist Mfg's domestic program.
● Managing and appropriately delegating day-to-day tasks to all production employees.
● Managing and scheduling production employees work hours and dates.
● Answering employee's questions inside and outside of the production departments.
● Keeping employees on schedule in order to meet deadlines.
● Managing production employees in a way that maximizes recourses and efficiency.
● Appropriately hiring and firing of production employees (with the help of the Director Of Operations when need be)
● Taking the time to help problem solve any challenges production employees may face in order for them to do their job to the best of their ability.
● Addressing production errors and implementing solutions.
● Addressing production employees (when appropriate) in both group and 1 on 1 settings in order to communicate important information.
● Appropriately addressing and problem solving with the sales and or creative side of Brist Mfg. when there are communication and or system errors between departments.


Prior experience requirements:

Candidate must have in depth industry experience including but not limited to:
- Manual Press Setup and Operation
- Automatic Press Setup and Operation. We use M&R automatic equipment.
-Must know logo placement for all size garments. We print on all types of apparel, t shirts sweatshirts, bags , shorts , pants etc. .
- Coating & Exposing of Screens
- Screen Cleanup and Reclaiming
- Production of Shirts in a Timely Manner
- High standard of quality with a GREAT EYE FOR DETAIL
- Maintain a Neat, Clean, Well Organized Work Area
