We are looking for a skilled sewing machine operator to cut, sew, assemble and inspect the sewing of various custom orders of various fabrics for customers. to work on all product stages from research and development to design and manufacture, through to installation and final production. You must have a solid work history and be able to perform single and double needle sewing operations. You must exhibit the initiative in the daily performance of your tasks to provide quality products and services that meet/exceed customer demands and maintain a quality working relationship with team members.

Responsibilities for this position will include:

· Set up station ensuring all production materials are available.

· Operate single or double needle industrial sewing machine to sew products.

· Visually inspect product and document results,

· Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned area,

· Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures,

· Must be able to achieve professional top stitching,

· Must be able to work with various fabric with experience in tufting, applying welts, buttons and other detailing techniques,

· Should excel in operating all sewing related equipment,

· Operate industrial sewing machine to join pre-cut pieces; align pieces to preserve grain and/or pattern,

· Inspect parts during assembly and upon completion to assure compliance with established product quality criteria.,

· Requires repetitive movements with fingers, hands, wrist, and arms.

· Requires good vision, arm-hand steadiness, and manual dexterity.

· Perform additional responsibilities as requested.

Qualifications:

· Ability to listen, learn and communicate with supervisor and coworkers and take direction.

· Good time management skills to meet/complete daily tasks and time-lines.

· Results oriented.

· Flexible and able to adapt quickly to changes or restructure of priorities.

Work Environment:

· Work shift five days a week Monday - Friday, eight hours per day with overtime as necessary to prevent down time of equipment.

· No travel required.

· Must use proper PPE and follow all safety guidelines and regulations.

· Must be able to stand and/or sit for long periods of time.

· Must be able to bend, reach above head and lift up to 50 pounds
