Red face Singer Futura Embroidery and Sewing Machine Assistance

Glad I found you guys! I am planning on purchasing the "Singer Futura Embroidery and Sewing Machine with Digitizing CD"

at http://www.hsn.com/cnt/prod/default....01287&ocm=sekw

I want to be able to make custom clothing tags for my things I make...no graphics really just wording. I was thinking of just buying some labels from a label company, but I think I could really benefit from all the other features this machine has to offer such as the stitching. I just bought a serger which I love and learned how to use it in 2 days...now I can't stop sewing LOL.

I do not do high volume stuff, just custom work every month or so...sometimes 2 or 3 in a month..so I did not want to spend $200 on custom labels if I can just pop a few out of this machine when I need them...AND have all the other features as well.

I have seen the page at http://zimfamilycockers.com/SingerQu...uraCE-200.html which shows the examples that this particular machine can do, but does anyone else have any real practical experience with it?

I have not been able to find a complete run down of the features like you can with "software" per say. Is the Serger website no longer in operation? Can't seem to find that either.

Any help would be appreciated!
