Over 15 years in the printing industry (offset litho) using industry-standard graphic applications (Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw) and digitizing with Drawings PRO.

I recently sold my printing business in California and took up digitizing as a hobby/side business a little over a year ago. I have been offering stock designs to home and small business embroiderers at my site http://www.pesvault.com, as well as doing contract digitizing for people from various forums (SewForum, etc.). Would love to be able to offer my services to members of the forum - and I'm US based! (Good ole Iowa). I rarely price by number of stitches for digitizing - I prefer to quote based upon the original artwork and the actual time involved (plus there is no incentive to make the design too dense!). But, as an example a typical company logo provided in .eps or .cdr typically runs under $20 via Paypal and gets delivered within 24-48 hours upon receipt of artwork (I'm an early-retiree, so lots of time on my hands!). Because of my graphics background, I can usually redraw the entire logo if needed also!
