Re: Sroque News Flash
If there were any people out there that were still on the fence about whether or not Robert was a straight shooter, hopefully this will help clear their minds on that issue. He even went so far as to post some paperwork with signatures to convince people. I know there will still be people out there that think everyone is out to get the guy, but there is no way someone would get this much heat from so many people if there wasn't a reason for it.

Re: Sroque News Flash
Gerry a thread is gearing up on the machine started by the actual sellers. They are making a trip to the plant to get educated on the machines so there should be some goof info coming.

Re: Sroque News Flash
I would suggest people looking for an alternitve to M&R as I know there is a few out there why deal with Mustang and Robert check out the Sroque it sounds like it has as much bang for the buck as the Mustang. Minus some bells and whistle that are nice but not necessary.
Not a dig on M&R at all I just know some people like alternatives and i would rather see people researching Srouque instead of anything Barnes has his fingers in.

Re: Sroque News Flash
I guess over all I have a negative opinion of most overseas press manufactures. We have seen it play out right here on this site exactly worst case and we see the Mike and Jeff have no real ability to get the press corrected or in Jeff's case even delivered without either suing them. I feel like that is at the least a indication of how easy it is for an overseas manufacture to do as they like without any real recourse.
Now that doesn't mean they all would or do walk away from their customers. That isn't what I am saying. I am firmly saying it seems really easy for them to do it though if they so choose.
I wish all of them luck though, I like that there is FRIENDLY competition contrary to RWB's belief.

Re: Sroque News Flash
Good thing about this overseas manufacturer, there seems to be a distributor here that isn't hiding behind a shell company and might actually put their name and signatures on the sales contract. I guess there is a possibility that if someone had an issue it might fall on deaf ears like what we've seen with our good friend and enemy Roberto, but something tells me it won't. I wonder if our Portuguese friends understand the need to have ALL parts readily accessible within a day's reach?

one of the advantages of buying equipment from here is the presses are US standard fittings ,hoses, cylinders, etc. if this is not inportant and not an issue waiting on parts occasionaly we could easily sell presses from our plant in Poland at lower prices. The service would also be comprimized as our techs here are not set up to support metric machines. Definitely the prices would be lower but at the price of immediate service and parts. Thoughts?

I will take my parts when I need them, not later. I will take my service when I need it, not later. I will pay a higher price for better service/support. I will pay a higher price for a press with higher resale. I will pay a higher price for a press with USA manufacturing backing it. I will keep jobs in the USA when I can.

As seldom as we have needed parts on our M&R equipment, I don't see that as a real issue. As long as phone support from the tech dept doesn't change, I see no problems. It might be something to consider. I'm sure you guys can tell which parts should be readily available and which parts would require a wait.

We should make this into a New M&R ad. Just saying.
