Default Sublimating Over Side Seams

Hello all,

I am new to the forums and I hope someone can help me out regarding a question about sublimating on lycra fabric.

I have two panel drawings (Illustrator files). One is the front of the garment and one is the back. These panels will eventually be sewn together at the sides creating a side-seam.

I would like to sublimate an image on the front panel that extends across the seam and onto the back panel (and ideally, have it line-up properly). I have been experimenting with different methods on my own without much luck.

I have to assume there is some "magic formula" for aligning the art exactly from the front panel to the back. I just haven't figured it out. Some have told me that I may need to bring my question to someone who assembles/sews such things as they would have the best input. I will be looking up such companies shortly. But, in the meantime, any advice or help that could be provided to me here would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
