i have a neo. I bought in Feb-07 not a good machine.it has too many errors.if you embroider a design which has 10.000 stiches it breaks the tread at least 10 times. My recommendation is never get it.

i would think its a problem with the design or your tensions not the machine. if you are having that much trouble, you need a service tech.

When starting I had lots of problems with my machines as well.... ended up being operator error almost each time... but I stuck with it and learned alot. It is frustrating, we think the machines should be human proof, but they aren't.

most them errors seem to be operator error ....the machine is a work horse,,,, My first job with no exp with embroidery was 200 caps with 1 color 7210 stitch count.....not 1 thread brake or pullout.....you should check your digitized file and your machine to make sure everything is correct
