Textile Press Operator

D-Lab Screen Printing is looking for a skilled and talented press operator for our decorating operations. Potential candidates must be skilled in the setup and operation of M&R textile presses. Ideal candidate will have ability to set up 1-12 color artworks and efficiently print on garments at 50+ dozen an hour. You will be expected to demonstrate understanding of print order, inks, squeegees, speeds, pressures and be able to maintain quality control and solve any potential problems on press.

We are an art-driven, high quality, retail-oriented decorator that frequently prints the creative designs that other printers can’t do. The range of garment styles, inks, and printing applications will be extensive and you will be expected to adapt to each print job as required.

Lead operators will direct their team (assistant pressman/off-loader and catcher) to work together and produce high-quality prints as efficiently as possible. Communication is key with your direct team as well as other press teams, art, ink, and screen departments.

One-year minimum experience operating a textile screen printing press required. Any application without a valid work history showing this experience will be discarded immediately.

Compensation for a hard-working and talented operator: $12/hour and up (depending on skill and experience)
