Exclamation thread pulling out, no alarm

I have a Toyota 850.
When I am embroidering and the thread pulls out of the needle, it keeps on sewing, with no thread break alarm. If, when it first starts up in slow speed, and the thread pulls out, then the alarm goes off. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
Tony

I'm not too familiar with toyotas.

It sounds like you may have a bent check spring, or maybe something funky going on with a take-up lever.

Have you checked your settings in the control panel. There are settings for sensitivity on thread break detection, again, not familiar with toyota's but try upping the sensitivity of the detectors.
