Default Thread Shredding

Having problems with certain spools of thread shredding. Have change these spools to a different location where there has been no problem and again it shredded within few seconds or with in about 100 stitches. I have made all types of adjustment with no success and would like to hear from others if there are any tricks of the trade that maybe of help. Ordered new thread from another company that I have been using without any problems but I have orders waiting that I would like to get out.

Is thread cutting/trimming what you mean?

In my experience their could be 2 problems. Either the thread is not to the standard OR the cuttin blade is not rightly adjusted. it would really be hard to explain the technical issue over this thread. I'd suggest you ask a local embroidery machine repair guy OR the call the company and ask them.

embdigitizing,

Thanks for the reply and you were correct in your questioning of my post. The problem has been corrected and the problem was the thread itself. Got the new brand of thread in and everything went just fine.

We were using Vista product and now have changed to Isaccord threads and we will be replacing the Vista all together. Have gone back to a few of other jobs that we were having problem on and made a trial run without any problems. I not saying that the thread alone solved all the problems but it have been very noticable so far.

Purchased the Isaccord from www.threadetc.com if you are interested.
