Default Tiling Images

Hi

I have a canon ipf6300s that we use at school for various prints. We used to purchase pre printed large images eg. 3.5m by 2.4m. We would now like to produce are own using the A1 roll paper. I can manually split my images up and create each individual length. This of course is a bit time consuming and working out the overlaps is a pain. Which software can do this for me automatically and which can do it for the least cost. The closet thing I have found is shiraz signature which has a tiling module, anything similar without the rest of the RIP as I don't really need it.
Many thanks in advance for your help.
