first, clear whatever was locking up the motor. Usually part of the garment you were working on. Than hit the stop button. This should clear the error. However, the machine will not be in the correct position to start back immediately with the sewing. I always hit the start position button and then just run the machine without actually sewing until I get to the spot where it locked up. Then I continue sewing.
