Toyota AD860
I found the following ad on Craigslist for a Toyota AD860 for $3000 OBO located in Canton, Ohio
http://akroncanton.craigslist.org/art/1453249055.html
The seller's name is Dan and he can be reached at 330 224-3977
My wife and I went to look at it Friday night. We spent about 2 hours working with it and got it to run. It needs a good lube job but everything appears to work. I hate to walk away from it at this price, but we decided not to buy it because we were not comfortable with the single needle assembly and the single take-up lever transferring needles and thread . We currently run 2 Barudans BENTs and a Happy Voyager and are use to having a complete needle assembly for each thread.
Anyhow, for the right buyer (someone who already has runs Toyotas) this could be a good machine. It comes with a cap driver but is missing the hat frames. It is also missing the hoops and hoop arms. The seller bought it from someone who had it in storage. For our test runs, we clamped a stiff piece of art felt to the pantogram.
Please follow the link to the Craigslist ad rather than e-mailing me.
