Trouble with Barudan 2 Head machine

Hi, I have an older Barudan 2 head 5 needle machine, it is sewing just fine but when I put the needle in the middle of my garment to sew it, its like the needle doesn't move far enough to the left and the design ends up off centered to the right. Also if i stop in it in the middle of the job, and tell the needle to go back to the center it will move like its gonna go back, but ends up way off to the right.

Has anyone ever had this problem before? Do I need to give more info for anyone to be able to help.

Check the belts and make sure its not slipping.
