Re: Urgent Advice Needed - BAS 423 Machine Down
Thanks but have that data, doesn't have detail schematic board data.
Need Schematic for all Boards.
Need to find out correct Test Points and Voltage for each Board.
Need to know Board Part Numbers.
Issue:
Pantograph/Sash Power Up Movement Extremely Slow, creeps.
Pantograph/Sash moves freely when off.
Moves as it should using Arrow Keys once it Powers Up.
Control Box allows one to load design, assign color/needles but will not Confirm Frame Check Design nor does it begin sewing when START pushed, keep getting redundant Message: START TRACE, YES>START NO>CLR
Brother Tech thinks maybe PCB and/or PMD (pulse motor drive) pcb may have been damaged. not sure of Test Points and/or Correct Voltage.
Tap set at 240V.
Outlet In/out 248V
At Power Switch 124V each side, Top 248V.
Everything present as intact, no loose wiring.
Encountered issue while doing a test sew out on Head One, design had multiple Stops/Trims/Thread Pull Outs, aborted the sew out because of same.
Unplugged Head One and turned it off, enabled Head Two & Three, Rebooted, Clear same issue. Tried loading a KNOWN DST file that sewed just fine on machine earlier in day and others from past, keep getting same reduant message: START TRACE.
Any assistance, ideas are greatly appreciated.
