Default VersaCAMM SP 540V

We bought this machine to do our own POP and banners for our paintball co.- we then sold the business, this machine has been used very little last time a tech looked at it from sign supply USA he said it was basically new we printed at most a couple thousand sq ft most high speed. The unit has been in storage at our restaurant for almost a year - so I am sure there will be issues with the heads, I have the computer hooked up to the machine because we did a couple banners here so if you are n the area we can fire it up. It always ran perfect. we have a fast t jet 2 and I always said I wished the t-jet worked like the roland. If anyone is interested please make an offer.

I am in south east GA and I can have delivered to areas with in a few hours.

Not sure what it is worth so I am taking offers.

Hello, which model of the printer do you have, the SP300(30") or a SP540(54"), also how old is the machine.

Sorry for the typo in the title - it is the 54", we bought the unit in new 2006 the first use was in mid november 2006 and we sold the company in june 2007, we moved it to the rest in feb 2008 and used for valintines day banners and a few other pieces last full color use was late 2008. If someone can tell me how I will fire it up and try and get the hours of use or however it tells you how much use is on the machine - it looks brand new - it is stored in an air conditioned room with a cover on it.

Yes we have software - the machine is still hooked to the computer, no take up roller, not sure how to do a nozzle check, But I would expect some clogging do to none use - let me know how to do one.

I would have to see if the heads need to be replaced, they are around $800.00 each. What would sell it for?

I would assume the worst. We are going to do a test print in the next day or so - we will know better then. if any one wants us to do any specific test tell us how and we will do it.

OK so the cyan is not printing BUT it is all over the wipers and capping station - so - when we do a cleaning there is plenty of cyan , but not when we print - what would cause this?

not sure, could be the head or damper or more? Black head printing red is not a good sign either. How much are you looking to get out of it?
