Default want to be a digitizer.

I am interested in becoming a digitizer, and have no idea where to start. I work with an embroidery company and they already have there own. I would really love to learn how to make beautiful designs. Are there trade schools for such things? Like the Art Institute? Please if you know, tell me everything.

Thanks,
Erica

Hi Erica,

So you mean now you're working in an embroidery company? That's a good start.

As far as I know, there's no school that specializes in this field. Perhaps art school is the closest one but they don't teach you about this kind of profession....

All you can do is work as a digitizer and as you regain experience, you'll be able to make beautiful designs in the future. Good luck!

I am working at an embroidery company but with the machines. I use the Tajima program but it does all the work itself. So you have no more information than that? How did you learn? I have read on here that you can learn through the programs you purchase, through videos and booklets.
