DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The basic functions of the Production Manager of Sport Designs & Graphics Inc., is to carry out the plans, goals, objectives and directives of the General Manager within the shop area.
The Production Manager will provide the leadership and direction necessary to sustain the company's growth and to complete his/her agenda with their own management style within the framework of the Strategic Plans and Goals of Sport Designs and Graphics.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
The Production Manager reports directly to, and is fully accountable to the Operations Manager.
The following positions report directly to the position of Production Manager:
Automatic Press Operator
Manual Press Operator
Numbers Machine Operator
Dryer Operators
Screen Room Operators – Burn - Reclaim

REQUIREMENTS
Requires a High School Diploma. Some classes should include the various shop courses.
Prefer a technical diploma or Associates Degree.
Require five (5) years in a small entrepreneurial company or a division of a large company in the screen printing industry. Experience must include total shop responsibility as its Production Manager or Shop Manager.
Prefer ten (10) years in a small, but growing company or division of a larger company.
Must be a dynamic individual who is 100% quality and customer oriented with the ability and skills to mold and motivate a team of dedicated employees to achieve the goals as established by the Operations Manager. Knowledge must include experience in the industry, specifically athletic type printing. The ability to meet operating budgets for the year as established with the Operations Manager.
The physical requirements may be stressful with a majority of the time walking or standing on concrete. Body movements of walking, turning the head and torso, reaching, grasping, bending and flexing the arms, legs, wrists and fingers. The senses of being able to see and hear and have full power of speech. Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
Must be able to comprehend business math calculations. PC literate for spreadsheet is very desirable.
Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing, in English, to interact with customers, and employees, write and read reports and make presentations as required.
