I was wondering what to charge for embroidery. I have read that the going rate is about $1.00 per thousand stitches and also that if you have large designs to charge for the amount of time involved and not the amount of stitches( as the the amount of stiches would be high and costly for the customer). I just got my machine and have customers waiting. Also what is the best way to get customers ? I have been doing word of mouth, but am thinking of sending out postcards to busiensses and flyers. Any suggestions.

Rate has been becoming a sensitive issue in this industry. No one can tell the best rate for you as it all depends on your marketing strategy.

Hmm. Mona
I'm sorry to ask you this, but I read at your website your lowest rate is $2.5/1000 for 20,000 st. and above. Is there any other condition to get $1/1000 ?
