Default What happened to my thread?

I started a thread about my new machine arriving....it is gone.

Thread was labeled

I can't sleep.... because it arrived at 11:00 pm Saturday nite.

If you have a totally legit thread and someone illegal responds in it...does it really have to be deleted?....Can't you just delete the unwanted person?

This really sucks....Why should we waste time posting..if it will get deleted?

I have been on this forum a good while...I spend all my time here...not on every other forum. I have never caused any trouble to anyone.

And please don't say because I am associated with someone..my thread gets killed.

Because...my thread was all about me...to the many friends I made here in this past year.

Not sure Ted why.

I apologized to you for asking someone an off topic question but did not think your thread got all mucked up at all. Only thing I can think of is something went down in it that we both missed and it got axed. I know Alan selectively deletes unneeded posts in threads and I am sure he could have done it in your as well, like I said there is probably more to it than realized.

Because you made a post in Teds thread about something else, then I asked you if you got your press yet that is all.

I didn't delete it, must have been Marc. I know there is a fine line to what should stay and what should go and really a "no tolerance" policy is the easiest way but not really the best way. I am fine with that way of doing it but that means that many posts that aren't that bad have to get the ax as well. This is the way it is and who knows what would happen if Robert was allowed to get back on, maybe things would be fine but we've all been down that road more than a few times in the past and it's ended badly. Oh well, what are you gonna do?
