I'm trying to decide what type of heat press to buy. I will be using baby clothes 3 months up to kids size 6. Are the regular 15 x 15 sizes too large for the baby clothes? I heard you can get a custom platen made? is that neccessary?? any info would be appreciated!
Thanks!! Sarah |

No I dont think that is too large. I would look to the future, do you think you might press adult stuff? If so plan ahead.

I don't think that size would be too large, and you'll be able to use it for adult tees as well. I also use my cap press for smaller designs. This works well when I'm doing an over the heart desing on a tee, or especially a button up shirt.
I have the JP14 swing away press. I would not go smaller than that. I do recommend a swing away (as opposed to a clamshell) simply because when you're standing in front of it for a long period of time, you don't have the heat in your face. Also, if you're working with small items, you have more room to work. |
