I'd love to print a job on an MHM S-type or 4000, but I was most impressed with the CH III, specifically the world record machine with the touch screen printhead controls that Rich gave me a 30 minute tour of. If money were no object, I'd go with the CH III Special Edition slightly over the MHM 4000. I haven't been around a 4000 yet but it looks pretty sweet.

Alan,
I have spent a little time around an RPM. Last week in fact I was close to
a servo,ac head, 10 color. I don't know all the ins and outs, like I know other
presses. I do know people that have them, and really like them. I have had dinner once, with Rick Fuqua in St Louis He wanted opinions and sales for Elexon. Thank God I passed, but I have heard nothing but good about him from customers. If I was a printer looking for a press it would be one that I would look at. The Challenger 3, what's there not to like? M&R has really stepped up there game, in the last few years, in my opinion, and it shows.
The MHM 4000, a brilliantly designed machine, the "s" type is more my style!
I love their engineering,.thought process, however not a big fan of the parts
supply chain. (I do not like ANY company having that kind of control of replacement parts, since they make or contract 90% of the parts.) Time will
tell if the Italians and the Austrians will get along? Lets hope so! Printers who
have MHM's are almost as passionate about there press as these diamondback/sportsman owners. The MHM pin system is bulletproof. As far
as Thouchscreen's fast to build/service, it sucks when they break! For textile
printers I prefer the keep it simple, toggleswitch approch, but I know you young whippersnappers like all the Gizmo's. In developing countries, keep it
simple is better in my opinion, but not as sexy! As long as you printers put money in your pocket it is good, a lot of printers who you these larger machines are now slave to the $35 cent Walmart, Addias, Nike print and think
they are going to make it up in volume( a common disease that affect's screen printers)
happy printing,
winston
