Where to find appraiser?
I am currently a quick printer, I have been left however in a position where I had to evict a tenant in my building that was a screen printer, he was in a big hurry to leave ( court ordered ) and so long/short I find myself with a bunch of older heavy equipment, all powered up and working as best I can tell. I am going to want to sell this stuff to recoup part of debt but I need to know what things are worth, cabinets full of all colors of ink, chemicals etc. drying machines I think and quite a few presses and roller type machines, couple of paper cutters ( i used those ) piles of stuff, substrates rolls of stuff, anyway who does that kind of thing. I hate to trust it to a local outfit but may have too.

Re: Where to find appraiser?
Dear Dynamohum.
Look for Winston Strickland. His username here is Californiadreamin. Also, Thorton Equipment, and CGS.
The above poster is unfortunately not an honest business person and has a horrible reputation in the industry. All you have to do is ask a few of his customers/ex employees"
inkman996

binkspot
Good luck to you!

Re: Where to find appraiser?
I am inkma996 and I agree with bumper any of the folks he,listed are reputable brokers and understand the used market better than just about anyone especially robert Barnes the person that posted the link in this thread. Understand the people bumper posted deal with used equipment on a daily basis and know resale values better than most, they know what the market demands are. Spider machines only understands new equipment and how to rip people off. He has ripped my company off by selling a falsely advertised press and ripped off several others by taking their money but never delivering the press's. We are talking Capitol equipment the kind of thing that can put a small or even medium sized company out of business.

Re: Where to find appraiser?
LOL... if you post in the 3rd person, linking to yourself and trying to hype your self up in the 3rd person... well, something just doesn't seem right with that.

Re: Where to find appraiser?
Dynamohum;
You can contact us directly, CGS Sales & Service has been a recognized appraiser of screen and converting equipment for many years.
Website is : www.screenprintsource.com
If you have a list of the equipment with as much information as possible, e.g. model, serial no., age, etc. we can help.
