Immediate opening for an experienced Embroidery Manager. This leadership role is responsible for the quality, on-time delivery, performance and safety of the embroidery department personnel as well as equipment maintenance. The Embroidery Manager provides leadership, develops training, and establishes processes and structures in the embroidery department.
Responsibilities:
Operate your machine while monitoring quality and quantity of work produced by all operators. Assign orders to operators to ensure quality and on-time delivery. Maintains and improves embroidery productivity through various methods including scheduling work, continually thinking of ways to increase output, working on quality control issues, etc. Is responsible for training and performance of department personnel. Ensures proper operation of department equipment and is responsible for ensuring equipment is properly maintained. Implements and enforces company policies and procedures pertaining to department personnel.
Experience:
Minimum five (5) years hands on embroidery experience. Previous management experience required.
Qualifications:
Demonstrate strong problem-solving ability and capacity to deal with multiple problems. Excellent leadership and mentorship skills. Ability to multi-task under pressure in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Ability to thrive in a constantly changing environment and consistently meet tight deadlines. Exceptional organization and communication skills required.
