I need some help !!:( ..... ( apologise as this post goes on a bit !! )
I have used Lettering Pro by Great Notions for basic setting for a very very long time now as it's quick and easy to use, anyway to cut a long story short my PCs motherboard died so I've had to rip out the hard drive and transplant it into another PC, well here's where the problem arrised :confused: The program won't run straight from the slave drive as most of the other programs do, instead it's asking me for me to put in my serial number and activation code, apparently the serial number should be on my CD but seeing as I haven't seen the CD for years, I'm up s*** creek without a paddle as my dad would say !!.... The serial port dongle that came with the software has some number printed on it, which I tried, but no joy :(
I did contact Great Notions and was actually rather surprised that they even bothered to reply seeing as how old the software is, but no luck there as they said they sold this part of the company years ago and I've searched for days online to try and find who too with no luck...
I've even looked on eBay for a copy as I would gladly pay for it again, as everyone here knows how to use the software it would be a pain to have to learn another program.
So basically Im stumped and hoping by some chance someone out there can help me ????....
