So I was wondering if there are some screen printers who would like to hire a graphic artist with me and a few others.
I think this post is ok to put on this forum. It is not file sharing, I see it more as service sharing. We are paying for work to be done, so there should not be any copyright infringement issues. Please let me know if this breaks forum rules and I will take it down. I am just trying to put an idea out there that I think can help a lot of printers and a designer.
I am looking for printers that deal a lot with sports teams, and who are just looking for design concepts that they can show to these teams and then make changes to fit the team's colors and mascots.
So this is how it would work, we get 5-10 print companies together, and they contribute $100 per sports season. So with basketball season coming up, we would pay a graphic artist $500-$1000 (depending on how many companies contribute) to come up with however many designs they can for the price we pay. We have the designer use some of the mascots and colors that fit our teams, and then send the final designs to all of the print companies involved.
So you could get $1000 worth of art to add to your design library for $100, and the designer has the opportunity to make more money per design and get a large payday all at once.
