M & R Red Chili Flash cures

Encinitas , CA, United States

KNOW YOUR RED CHILI DIFFERENCES

The Red Chili, Red Chili D, and Red Chili DX are freestanding, medium-wave quartz flash-cure systems made by M&R for textile screen printing. They share core features like medium-wave sealed tungsten filament lamps, instant-on energy conservation (reverting to standby when idle), and three independent flashing zones.

Red Chili (Standard)
Control: Basic standalone quartz flash unit designed for localized ink drying between print stations.
Sensors & Integration: Lacks the digital/sensor automation found on the 'D' and 'DX' models. [1]

Red Chili D
Digital & Sensor Control: Includes an integrated InkSense substrate temperature sensor that automatically shuts off the flash once the garment reaches an operator-defined target temperature, protecting synthetic fabrics from scorching or excess shrinkage.
Operation: Freestanding unit with manual or automatic press compatibility and digital timer/temperature controls.

Red Chili DX
Press Integration: Features direct digital communication and remote control capabilities that allow operators to
control flash duration, power level, temperature settings, and multi-function job recipes directly from compatible newer M&R automated presses (such as the Challenger III, Gauntlet III, and Stryker).
Shared Technology: Retains all the core benefits, 3-zone independent flashing, and InkSense temperature-sensing technology of the Red Chili D.
