Experienced Screen Printer — Natural Motion Print Shop (Santa Cruz, CA)
Natural Motion Print Shop is looking for an experienced screen printer to join our team. You'll work alongside our head printer, a 20+ year veteran of the trade, helping with screens, setting up jobs, and handling and organizing orders.
We print for iconic Santa Cruz brands including Jimbo Phillips and collaborate with local Santa Cruz artists. If you want to do great work with local brands and artists while sharpening your craft next to one of the best in the business, this is the shop for you.
Pay: $23–$25/hr, based on experience
What you'll be doing:
• Setting up and registering jobs on our automatic press
• Preparing silkscreens for press, including screen mesh selection
• Pulling and organizing print orders
• Cleaning ink, squeegees, and equipment
• General maintenance and shop cleanup
• Shirt folding and bagging
• Product and order organization
What we're looking for:
• Experience with automatic screen printing equipment (required)
• Know how to register jobs on press
• Understand screen mesh applications
• Able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly
• Strong communicator who works well with a team
• Excellent organizational skills
• Reliable transportation
