I just got my machine and don’t have much to show in terms of completed projects. I am mostly working with matboard right now. I also had to build a small shed outside my place to house the charcoal venting unit. I tried to hire a contractor but he hurt his leg and called it quits after pouring the concrete base… I couldn’t find another one so after much ado I went ahead and built it myself… I’m almost done, just need to tile the roof, complete the stucco, and hinge the door… that took me in a different direction since I had never built anything like it before!
So, I ‘m mostly gathering ideas right now. I am interested in the possibilities of layering matboard to achieve contrast of color & depth. Also interested in cutouts in matboard and thin wood pieces. Even adding light behind cutout pieces to add interest. My goals are not production oriented, solely one of a kind pieces.
