I hope they'll just get rid of the V system all together, it's really a waste. I know you have to put on more chopper cylinders and it costs a little more but it's not worth the headache. I heard many things about the V squeegee and finally got to experience it myself a while back at a local shop and I could not deal with that for one second if I was printing. It's amazing that it's been around this long. Getting white through with one stroke was not an easy task.

I think you will be seeing allot more Javelins being sold in the near future. Talked to Phil today and am waiting on a per head cost to upgrade. If its effective I will be changing all heads over. Cannot wait, may just make the Javelin the best entry level press on the market.

Almost 28K for a new one with the chopper system still seems high to me. Maybe I am wrong though.

Depends on how you look at it, I know my machine has well over 3 Million Imp is a 94 and nothing major has ever went wrong. The Older Javelins are built like tanks, you cant hurt them and are by far the most reliable machine out there. They are complete down and dirty machines and simple to repair. I'm not sure what $28,000 would get you in a new auto but I do know that my machine will be around another 20 years if needed. So at $28 I would say that if a new Javelin last even half as long as mine it's well worth it.

What machine is that?

I know if you are talking Anatol that ain't possible I don't remember the exact quote from them for a 6/8 servo AC but it was at least 35k.

Probably not but what most people over look is the fact that a Javelin 6/8 is a true 6 color press. Any other make loses heads for flashing. In other words the price for a 6/8 Javelin compared to any other machine honestly has to be compared at an 8/10, so for the price the Javelin is unbeatable. More now more then ever.
