Job Summary:

We are looking for an Equipment Maintenance & Repair Technician to be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining machinery and equipment. They must ensure that the equipment is functioning correctly, and that safety protocols are adhered to.

An ideal candidate will possess a trained eye for detail. In depth knowledge and comprehension of screen-printing machinery or relatable mechanical skills.

This role will report directly to the Production Manager.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • None.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain and repair mechanical equipment.
  • Maintaining a schedule for inspecting, servicing, and testing machinery.
  • Troubleshooting machinery and performing routine preventative maintenance.
  • Reading, interpreting, and following instructions and operation manuals.
  • Carry out modifications and upgrades.
  • Investigates complaints, documents findings, and conducts quality assurance reviews.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair.
  • Perform proper inventory control of parts and tools.
  • Orders parts, materials, and equipment.
  • Follow health and safety regulations.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment faults.
  • Knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems and related components.
  • Ability to use a variety of power and hand tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and manuals.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure.

Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma required.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in the screen-printing industry or related manufacturing.

Physical Requirements:
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to access all areas of the facility to work with the production staff.
