newbie - any recommendations welcome

Hi all, my name is Sandra, and I am just venturing out starting my own embroidery business, from my home.

i am Canadian, but would love any suggestions, pointers and contacts for top rated clothing items for embroidery. I really am interested in quality products as it pays in the end.

I have researched a few companies for clothing items, but have found the cotton too think and doesn't wash well. Again, any suggestions of companies I could source that would be most welcome.

I am going to start small and work my way up, so again any suggestions, do's and don'ts again welcome.

I hope to create a good network of people on this forum to assist me and also possibly I could assist one day once I learn A LOT.
