Automatic Silk Operator

Effective Plan is seeking an experienced Silk Screen Operator. The position offers the opportunity to work independently within a small company where you are a valued individual not an employee.
The position requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently and a proven record of being able to multitask and accomplish assignments on time.
In this role the individual will set up and operate both automatic and manual printing presses. They will solve printing problem and make adjustments to the press to keep quality, registration, color and production speeds to the optimum level.
Primary Duties:
Oversee the Silk Screening operation
Operate both automatic and manual presses
Prepare silk screen using the prepared films form the film printer
Prepare and mix required ink to be used in production
Transfer finished clothing from the screen printing machine to the furnace
Fold and package finished clothing
Perform regular maintenance on the silk screen printing press
Required Skills and Knowledge:
Two years experience running an automatic multicolor screen press
Perform regular maintenance of silk screen printing press
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work in a face paced environment
Ability to lift 35 pounds
Must have reliable transportation
