Digitizing

Does anyone know of a good program for digitizing that allow you to make an embroidery file from a picture?

I hire all my out. It takes years to know how to professionally digitize. And if you are like me
it is too time consuming to learn it and look good. I would rather embroider instead of messing around with digitizing. And the price to hire it out has really gotten cheap over the years.
Pass the custom design cost on to your customer. I never had a customer complain yet.

I am looking for a good Digitizer Professional. I plan on outsourcing the Digitizing too! If anyone has a few people they could recommend I would be forever grateful! :)

Well .... Yes.

BUT (isn't there always a but)

Any good program is going to be EXTREMELY expensive, thousands, literally. You would be beter off to find yourself a very good digitzier, and see what they have done and can do. Ask if they have ever done any photo digitizing before, see if they have a portfolio of their work.

I'd go from there personally.

I recommend contracting your digitizing out. There's many good ones, and the prices are reasonable now.

The old standard "you get what you pay for" is not always true with digitizing. I've paid $20 and up for bad digitizing, and I've paid $10 for fantastic digitizing.
of stitch counts. I've had designs done by one digitizer with a 20k stitch count, and then had it redone by another and it's 15k. Both good quality designs.

PM or email me if you'd like some references.

At Planet Embroidery.com there is a section called WEB PHOTO
there you can imput a photo and a stitch version is produced.
You pay only what you imput.
