Strange thing happened this morning. Last night I was halfway through a design, getting late so I noted the stitch count and turned the machine off and went home. This morning come in , turn machine on and go through the start up routine to carry on with the stitching where I left off last night. Started the machine and find the machine starts stitching about 2,1cm below where it should be.
Any body any idea why?? The machine remembered the stitch count so started with the right stitch but not the position. One theory I have is that last night we had a huge thunder storm and the storm somehow affected the memory. OK, stupid theory but ??
Hope I´ve made sense.
Earl.
Re: Loosing the "Start, End " point.
Did you "jog" the design at all, perhaps when you shut the machine down and rebooted it, it moved the carriage to its home position. You may have to hit the origin button to get it to return to the design. This is a common thing with Barudan's, and older tajima's.
Re: Loosing the "Start, End " point.
Hi Eric ,yet again. To be truthful, I cant remember touching or doing anything I should not have done.
What it has taught me is to make a note of the stitch count when I turn off and to watch what happens when I turn on again. I have also learnt how to reset the origin .
Thanks , and a happy 4th.
