Do SWF machines have a trace feature?

Just wondering whether SWF embroidery machines have a similar feature like my ZSK machine’s “design range”? So basically the machine should let me know if the design I want to embroider will fit within a hoop size before it actually starts to embroider. It does this by going around outside the perimeter of the loaded embroidery design with a selected needle. Know what I mean? Let me know and I’ll clarify some more what I’m trying to say. Thanks!

In short yes SWF machines have this feature. It prevents the needle from accidentally hitting the hoop. I think all modern commercial machines have this feature now if I’m not mistaken. But for sure my year 2000 model SWF machine has it so I’m all other SWF machines have them too.

Yes, in fact, it’s called Trace Design. Needle one makes/traces a box around the design which allows you to see how big the design really is and if the hoop size is appropriate.
