Hi!

I do digitizing since 2005 and works with companies around the world. I am currently looking for new clients. Digitizing price is $ 1,5 per 1000 stitches and there are no hidden fees. For example a file, or 5489 stitches will be $ 8.23, if the file is 2654 stitches - $ 3.98. Fast turnaround time - usually 12-24 hours from receipt of order.

I will let this sit for 2 weeks and then publish my findings along with pics for other embroiderers to see. I did this 4 years ago to 4 different digitizers and got back 4 completely different sewouts, I then chose my digitizer and have been doing business with him ever since. I can say I spend at least $25,000 a year with him. Now if the potential for an additional $25,000 a year is enticing to you I welcome you to take the challenge. By no means am I going to drop my current digitizer, however there are times he is too busy to turn things around quickly and for that it would be nice to have a solid plan B. Even though I might not use the "winner" full time I can bet that many embroiderers seeing the post will give you some business. I will not pay for any files submitted, this is a voluntary participation to possibly get more business. I welcome anyone that is interested. I will only give my personal opinion for the sewouts and post all pics and let every embroiderer judge for themselves. So if you are good let the digitizing do the talking..... Cause it's not about price it's about quality.

seriously?? 8 years later?

back then he said he was spending 25K a year. SORRY BS at MY prices that would mean he had 60 designs per month!? seriously? my base is 35.00 per design even then even now. most pay WAY less.... meaning they would need MORE than 60 designs per month to pay 25,000.

Haha, well not BS and 8 years later just shows that the thread had much interest from other embroiderers..... That's the problem w digitizing pricing. You usually get what you pay for. Just because you're $35 a design doesn't mean you know what you're doing. And yes I was spending $25k a year and now it's more, so no it wasn't ********. You should see what some digitizers pass off as acceptable files. I've been in this game for a long time and compared many apples to apples when it comes to digitized files. I'm happy w my guy, minimal thread breaks, outstanding detail and incredible turnaround times. Im also proud to say I keep my money in our US economy as well. For all newbs out there, do your due diligence. Shop around, don't fall for "cheap", it doesn't always pay off in the end.

well then I will shut my mouth and eat my hat (yes I tend to wear hats... to try to hide my big ears. not sure it works but in my mind it does, lol) I am glad to hear you are still around and doing well! SO many have left especially after the 2008 cycle.

I do not know what I am doing ALL the time but I tend to feel most of the time I do. this is my 29th year of living off digitizing. Volant just celebrated it's 17th anniversary. the website did not start until 2003(those were expensive!!!) and today we are working on design number 241,172 on the site. so either we kinda know something OR I have fooled a HECK of a lot of people! lol probably because they never saw my big ears! that could KILL the company... at least start a meme competition.

seriously, congratulations on your continued success! we need to hear more stories about those that have made it. Gives hope to all

how the hell have you done so many designs? dang!!! i feel like i spend all my time staring at the screen and i'm only up to 27610. i've only been at it 22 years...but still! i must be really slow. just had my best month tho, so that's cool!
it is really nice to see the old timers still at it.
Fatty: Amen on the not falling for cheap. there are WAY many more bad digitizers than good ones. especially now that there are a few advances on 'auto digitizing.' so many don't digitize at all any more! they buy software, point and click and instant design. wonder how many of the digitizers used this this 'study' are still at it?
