Default Machine Questions for upstart

Hi...I'm upgrading from a home embroidery machine to a single head and wondered how many needles are really necessary for a small business that deals more in home interior needs such as pillows, monogrammed items and some things like saddle pads and other horse related items. I was thinking of a Happy Voyager or the Barudan XT, but I am thinking maybe of purchasing a used Voyager and seeing how it goes before I upgrade to new. I don't know that I need 12 needles but I don't want to regret my decision, and I heard the Journey is less stable. Does anyone out there have advice? Thanks in advance...
