Hey all, I just got my Husqvarna/Viking Designer 1 & Professional Embroidery System! I’m kind of confused about some things as you may guess as am very new to embroidery and all that. I see so many wonderful and cute designs available on the internet for download and best of all they are totally FREE! Yippee! Anyhoo, some of these cute embroidery designs do not want to cooperate with my machine for one reason or another. I think my machine accepts the SHV format and the designs I downloaded are PES format. What do i do to make my machine accept PES? thank your all for your help!
You can use embroidery software like Buzz Tools which I use to convert different embroidery design formats from one to another. Buzz Tools is not free though, but I feel it’s way worth it.
Yes, a conversion software is what you need. It’s a shame all designs aren’t made in one format only to prevent all this confusion for everybody. It should be one format for ALL embroidery machines!!!
