I think that Rich started making our dryer before we made a decision to buy it because he was very confident that we would go with big blue...I could be wrong. I don't think they can make a dryer of that size We got our dryer in about a week or so after we wired the money. I could have gotten the Interchange quicker and if we would have done that, what would you be saying about interchange? Would you be saying the same things about them as you are M&R since they would have done the exact same thing as M&R did, except have it to us even faster? Hypocrite

My Printex has been almost a year and it isn't here, It might be the first press in history to come and the warranty is already past due. That sucks!!

Alan, the only reason you could of got the Interchange quicker is because it was mine already paid for. It was waiting on my 16 color Printex Prism ll to ship. Robert Barnes asked me if he could sell it to you for I paid and have another made for me. He wanted you to be his Digit Smith defender.

Maybe Robert can get a job as a "Captian" on an Italian cruse ship...he already knows how to "jump ship" when it's sinking!!!

This seems like the new way of the industry forums here on digitsmith, no moderation if the majority think you are wrong then you suffer the tyranny of the moderator and his flock.
Something doesn't make sense here, why is it that when M&R reps gets involved with these customers the Printex presses on order never get delivered, could there be something going on beyond the story being told on the internet?

Robert...this is something that you started a few years ago. Now that you have lost control of the boards and the tables have turned you cry foul...too funny!

Re: What is an acceptable amount of time to wait for a press.
Don't feel sorry for me, feel sorry for yourself that none likes your dealings. I never said I'm not happy with the choice I have made now. As a matter of fact I'm more then happy. The S will fit more easily in our new shop and looking at it now the print size will do just fine. And the customer service has been fantastic all the way through our decission making process which was rather long by the way. I'm glad that our regional sales manager at M&R is a friend of mine for many years now and I know I can trust him and the company he represents.
Funny enough last year as we started doing some research about automatics, even though it was always clear to me it would be from M&R, I posted some questions on the M&R forum. Out of the blue I got an email from a company selling Printex machines asking me if I have considered their products. Did my research on the Internet and came to the decision that it's not even worth replying to that email. Anyway to make long story short, I think M&R would always be my first choice. They never let us down on parts and advise. Can your company say the same, dude?

There are great companies out there, but M&R has the most forum trolls to perpetuate the spinning propaganda wheel.
Perhaps M&R has had a better strategy by targeting internet trolls with special relationships, your order may have missed the favor wagon.
Look at how many internet trolls have magically received immediate delivery of M&R equipment as of late, coincidence would not seem to be the case.
One thing that you may find interesting in all of this is that only Printex in the USA seems to be the black sheep of the flock, why is that?
Sure the M&R loyalist want to blame Barnes, but since there is such a long history of bad blood between Barnes and M&R one must question the foul play angle.
Will we start to see stories like Printex with other press brands in the near future?
